Guys.
GUYS.
I missed blogging. Like, fiercely.
This won’t be anything like my last blog because, let’s face it, I don’t have time for a bunch of DIYs, carefully curated outfits, or perfectly edited photos. My life has changed drastically in the last 2 years and that’s where this blog comes into play. I spent all of my early 20s living alone in a house my grandparents built out in the country, running a photography business and having (almost) all the time in the world to do as I pleased. Now I’m pushing 30, a married SAHM to two kids under 2, trying to manage four lives (not to mention keeping 3 batshit dogs alive) while living in our dream home in a sweet suburban neighborhood.
Cliche cliche, right? Like who is this person?
There are a lot of days I feel like I stumbled into this life and I’m still finding my way around, so “Finding Hestia” felt accurate: Hestia is the Greek goddess of the hearth, family, and domestic life. I’ll touch on how I keep our house afloat and how I take care of myself in the midst of it all. I really really want to keep things real here.
Okay? Okay.
Let’s do this.
